CLYC Update:  July 21-26

The presentation on the Great American Loop Tour by “Loopers” Laura Tomyako and Ginger Austin was very interesting…. and indeed we hope they will come back to make the presentation again in the future.  Lots of fun at the Friday Night Grill and BINGO (with lots of kids), and Saturday’s Schroeder’s Famous Fish Dinner was again – for the 20th year – a great success… with Many THANKS to Hosts Joe & Terry Leshock and helpers Joy and Frank Jamerson and Missy Murphy.

More Info on Tuesday’s GAME NIGHT:  Last Wednesday Missy Murphy emailed:  “Last night''s CLYC Game Night was a resounding success.   Bob (POP) Rupp brought his amazing shuffler and taught us how to play 3-13.  There were 12 players and we had a lot of fun.   We did not play Euchre but had a table ready just in case.  Via the vote of our game players, we determined that Tuesday nights would be the game night starting next week.  We will be there from 7pm until 9 or 9:30, bring a snack and drinks if you wish.  By the way, I got the most points in 3-13, BUT THE WINNER GOT THE LOWEST POINTS!

Call Missy at 231 347 9858 If you have any questions

SAILING Update:  Julian Magnus sailed for the first time this season on Saturday and in tricky Crooked Lake wind, roundly beat all of us in the first two races… but lost the last one after playing some downwind games with Keith Erke.  If you are interested in sailing but don’t have a boat, give us a call and we’ll find one for you.

If you know someone who is not getting these emails, please let me know so we can add them to the list… or if they do not have email, please print out a copy for them.  This is our only means of communicating with members during the season.

PLEASE BRING GUESTS & POTENTIAL MEMBERS TO ALL CLUB EVENTS!
