Re: CLYC Ideas and Plans

     Attached is a draft of ideas for the CLYC that incorporates our discussions. Hopefully members will offer other
ideas and their comments as well.  We’ll put everything on our webpage (www.crookedlakeyc.org) along with links
to other  club’s webpages since they provide interesting and relevant information on their programs. 
     Our goal is to collect ideas through the Fall, analyze the ideas for effectiveness and practicality and then come up
with plans in March for the members to consider so at least some can be implemented in the 2006 season. Obviously
we will begin to review some ideas like renting boat slips and boat racks because they hold the most promise to
increase revenues as well as members.     
    Our intent is to strengthen programs that work well for present members and find new programs that appeal to
newer members.  Some governance and corporate structure matters should be addressed as well. 
     I look forward to hearing from everyone, and working together to come up with exciting plans for the Club’s
future.
